thinkin about taking the baffles out of my exhaust to make it louder. will it make any negative difference (performance wise), or harm my sled. OR will it sound sick and be totally awesome

It will probably sound sick & totally awesome to some, and irritate the living heck out of most, while robbing you of a few horsepower in the process. No, I'm not a fan of loud exhausts... but if you're going to do it at least buy a sensibly loud (read: not much louder than stock) after-market can. Just my 2 cents.

i bought my phazer with the pipe gutted and it was f*cking loud i still have it like that now but after getting a ticket from the cops i am replacing it with a stock pipe

I have a spare pipe and I'm just using it for show purposes only. It's a one day event and it has to be stock or your own hand made mods. Doesn't have to be loud just the best sounding like a homemade can or something would be great. thanks ANDY 500

Why dontyou just get an aftermarket pipe! they are all over try ebay, Irun a AAEN trail pipe on my SRV and it is a bit louder then stock but not to offensive. and a heck of alot lighter then the stock pipe.

how much did you pay and does it make any performance diference. also, do u have to rejet your carbs when u put one on
