How is it there? anybody been up the mountain on sleds?

I haven't been to the top but a few of my friends have so it is possible. There are trails through the park but no gas so make sure you fill up at popple depot or island lake. Let me know if you need any more info.

I have filled up at popple depot several times.Were planning on heading to Mount Carelton because i have climed mount carelton when there was no snow and we wanted to go around it but i wonder how it, is going up!! :huh: !!!

There is a really steep section near the top that is tricky but other then that its not bad. (According to my buddies)

I have been through the mt. carelton area many times. I have climbed it on my sled, but the last time we were in teh park, a few of the boys went to the top. The snow conditions were to low for to rip my sled over the rocks and tack a chance on ripping a track. :bash:
