I am in the process of installing SkiDoo's 12 volt cigar lighter to power my GPS . I received the so called kit yesterday but the only part in the unopened bag was just the recepter itself, no wiring harness.Isn't there suppose to be one. The two wires under the dash on the right side won't reach the recepter if I mounted it on the dash. In SkiDoo's accessory mag. it shows the plug with a wiring harness. Did I get short changed? One wouldn't think he shouldn't have to go out and buy some wires, connectors, etc. do you think? By the way, one of the two wires I mentioned has a stripe on it, that would be the neg. wouldn't it?
