Canada is looking good, thats true but dont count your eggs before they hatch. The sad thing about tournement play is one bad game and you are sent packing.

I am pretty sure Roenik played in either the last ex game or the Canada\Us game(could be wrong)Team canada and the us are the only teams that can take the pounding from one another,all the other teams,some with more skilled players,tend to not split the defence,or go into the corners with much conviction after a couple of over grown farm boys tune them in a few times :bash:

The Czech's totally pounded the Swedes today......and I mean pounded them.The farm boys had better be eating their Wheaties in the next few days.

if you put Canada and USA in a tournement that had 3 or 5 game series, simular to the NHL playoffs, they would met in the finals everytime. The Euro teams just cant compete when it comes to the hard punding that North American Hockey players can dish out. My thoughts are that yes, maybe the euro's have a bit more skill in certian areas, but we north americans have the best goalies in the world (Quebec) and the toughest players on the ice, not to mention some awsome talent of our own. North American Hockey Rules!!!!!!

I think the next game for Canada will be a test. The Czechs have given us fits in the past.(Remember the shoot out!) The US seem to be coming on strong also.

As I thought the Czechs gave our guys fits again and maybe should have won the game. Hope the boys can regroup and come out strong against the Finns.

curry gonna be a good one for sure against the finns, the finns seem to want it bad and canada better be on there game or they wont get lucky again.
