we just purchased a 00 srx, unsure if we will junk the sled or sell it. So if any of you yamaha guys are looking for srx parts. we may have a complete sled too junk. it all depends on how much enterest we get in parts. What are your thoughts, is there enough demand out there for parts to make it worth junking?

Dawg Shamarken who lives north of you is desperate for some engine parts for his SRX. He mentioned this in chat about a week ago. I will tell him the next time I see him in chat or fire him off a PM.

yes we are junking this sled, its not in great shape more of on the ruff side. track is shot, the right side traction bar has a bang in it also, and the price we payed for it, we can junk it and get more out of it. yes it will take longer, but we have got time to spare.

puree is right, i like my f6 way too much to ride an srx. We had a srx a few yrs back, was very fast but the suspension was nothing to be proud of. They are great sleds on the ice or on smooth trial, but i am sure puree will agree when i say, through in a few bumps and even my little f6 will roost that srx.

for any one wondering, the sled has 6500 kms on it.

perm thanks for the memory jog, i was on chat when shamarken was on there asking about srx engine parts. i will Pm himn and see what he needs.
