I am racing a 1998 Mach Z LT (200 hp at 9200 rpms) on the grass and was wondering what suggestions on clutching. I am running good but think I can do better. Here is what I have!!

Ramp - notched 297 (5400 engagement)
Weight - 15.4
Spring - 250-380
Click 4

Secondary -
Creme Spring
48/44 helix
20lbs Preload
22/44 gearing

What should 60 foot time be?

60ft should be 1.3's. Your're gearing is a little high. Drop to 20 or 19. I run 22/44 for 660 on asphalt at 9200 with a 700 triple. A 38 finish and a little more weight in the clutch may get you more MPH at mid track too.

When you say a 38 finish are talking about my bottome gear? What kind of times should I expect in 500ft. Thanks!!

finish on the angle of the helix. checkout cosdra.com for some grass 500ft times.

Should be low 5s.
