Does anyone have any reports or info on whether the Thunder Bay TOP A/D trail to Marathon will be open this year? Did it get rerouted yet? or did the landowner dispute get settled?

Want to start planning a trip and this could have an impact.

I spoke with a Thunder Bay native when I was in Armstrong hunting. He says it is Neebing Township that passed a bylaw prohibiting snowmobile trails within the township limits.

Makes Huntsville & Lindsay sound downright snowmobiler friendly. In the past I had heard there were issues w/ the MTO that was causing the problem w/ TOP A/D not going thru the area.
