I myself pay my sled insurance monthly tied in with my car :christmas:

Its $25 a month added to my car insurance :)

So it does not seem to hit the pocket that hard

I sorta do the same when buying my permit,I put away $20 a month towards the permit so I don't have to shell out the $180 all at once :sly:

Just curious as to how others pay for their sled insurance SWRules

atc250rfoxusa,
What company do you have for insurance? What state are you located in?
That is a great deal for insurance.

I voted lump sum, but I pay twice a year. Just got my bill and my sled insurance is cheaper than I thought. $137 for the year, full coverage.

Well I coulda paid the 8 extra dollars a month, but for the amount of money I decided paying it all at once was the best idea

that's the best way because you keep track of it better and you might need to tell your insurance company to hit the road.

$42 bucks a month on top of my also extraordinarily expensive car insurance... :cussing: Time to shop around (AGAIN), I think I've changed companies every 2 years for as long as I can remember... they all lure me in with a cheap (well, cheaper...) quote then jack it up once I'm signed.... A guy with a clean record shouldn't be paying this much.

I heard good things about TD, I think it's time to give them a call.

I pay just under $300/month for a truck, car and three sleds. They are all insured to the max with a 500 deductable. I am gonna phone TD for a quote as the value of my dear ole ZX has declined since the last time I phoned. They might cover me now.

I have my 2 sleds and trailer under my homeowners for $205 per year ( full coverage), but you are only allowed 3 accidents (claims) in 5 years. I also have my home and vehicles through the same company, that helps keep the price down.

Liability for three sleds with clean records- less than three hundred dollars a year with TD. Hossman, you've got to give them a call. Oh yeah, lump sum payment.

I'm in the lump sum crowd. I do the same with the boat and ATV. That way I'm paying for one each season, which doesn't make it so bad. Hate paying for sled insurance in the middle of the summer. Just doesn't seem right.

I pay $100 a year for liability, fire and theft. I pay it at once.

What I can't seem to understand is the variation in insurance rates.
