Can you tell me what you think about the best brand of light alum. 2 place trailers, covered and uncovered. Thanks guys! Cold this morning in Mich.

There are many good brands, just remember that you get what you pay for. I know I will catch some flack, but I would stay away from the R & R line of trailers, I almost bought one two years ago but was steered away by several unhappy owners. I have a 4 place enclosed Renegade and had a open Triton and loved them both.

I agree, I used to have an R&R and about half the welds on the frame broke...
I have a '99 Triton now and it seems to be holding up pretty good...

I have a 2 place Triton, it's great. Very sturdy. My only regret is I can't drive off the front. Sled bed trailers are nice also.

I prefer the karavan brand. That was the first trailer I purchased and it will probably be the last.

I bought a 16' boat trailer and made a double-drive on\off trailer.I found this is the best way to go,and you get exactly what you want.

Boat trailer = 200.00
Bought Steel = 340.00
Plywood = 120.00

TOTAL = 660.00

I checked them all and FLOE is or is near the best when it comes to build quality. They cost more buy check the welds underneath - what you CAN'T see is what matters most!!! http://www.floeintl.com/snowmobile_trailer..._structure.html (http://www.floeintl.com/snowmobile_trailers/trailer_structure.html)
Compare that to any other trailer (they weld only two sides on cross beams). You get what you pay for.
