Can anyone tell me if the starter itself is the same from a 92 formula plus XTCE to a 95 formula ss. *I am not concerned about the bracket that mounts it but just the starter motor itself.

Go to www.hlsm.com they have On-line Microfiche for parts and just look up starters for the two and see if the number is the same.
