I just picked up a Fox clicker shock for my 01 700XC. I was wondering does the shock mount with the resivoir facing up torwords the seat or down torwords the track? Also any starting points suggestions on clicks? I weigh 220.
Thanks Russ

Russ, you are in for a treat with what that shock will allow you to do. Agreed, adjuster knob goes down. It's actually a pain in the butt to get at/see during the course of a day with all the snow/ice around it. Having 12" extension installed on one to allow the reservoir to be mounted to the skid for easier access. If that one works out, will have the rest done. Running mine on the soft side generally between #2 and #4.

ran mine on a 2001 xc-800 found setting 2 to work the best for my set up.... 121" ... You will find the front track shock needs to be valved just a tad stiffer once you get the clicker in! The shock works great its 10 times better then the POS fox pps crap!
I weigh 230 and ride like a 20 year old some times.....
