Which of the two are better in a drag race, low end, top end, ect?
Because i have heard the XCR is really fast for a triple.
Put your thoughts, and comments and whatever in this post!!
THanks

I don't think there is much question about top end, the XCR shouldn't have too bad a time there. As far as the shorter runs are concerned, if I were on a ZR that's where I would want to be. Who wins will be a matter of luck, skill, and
setup. Should be good racing.

Friend has 2001 ZR800. No contest. XCR pulls away start to finish.

For top speed there is NO sled out there that will match the XCR out of the box. Last year around this time there was a post about fastest lake sled, it basically turned into a T-Cat vs Mach Z post. Finally somebody posted a test done by one of the popular magazines and the XCR actually beat them both. With proper clutching the XRC is in my oppinion the ultimate lake sled. You would be better off comparing the ZRT 800 to the XCR 800, that is more comparible. If anyone knows of the post I am speaking of feel free to post it. I ride with a guy that has a XCR as his second sled (primary is an RX-1) another in our group rides a modded ZRT8, 2001 and 2002. The XCR crawls by him at about 80 mph every time. Not the greatest trail sled though, thats for sure.

Friend has ZR 800, Brother has ZRT800. ZRT faster than ZR. XCR waxes them both. Brother installed Thundercat Jugs & machined 800 heads. Came out to 1005cc. Dynoed at 172 hp. XCR still kills it. ZRT has electric start, reverse, tourbuddy (to get 100 miles). Much heavyer than XCR. Yeeha.

Synthetic oil, jet it to the edge, make it run 8500 rpm. 8200 won't do.
