Prok 10-12-2004, 03:51 AM I was reading and a lot of people recomended putting high temp silicone around the exhaust gaskets. i was wondering would it be better to take the exhaust off and put it between the pipe/silencer and flanges or can i keep the exhasut on and just put a bead around the gaskets? thanks snofrog 10-12-2004, 04:23 AM i take the pipes off and put some between the manifold and pipe and then on both sides of the gasket at the muffler.M Brother D 10-12-2004, 08:14 AM Hey sno frog Where did you get your sno x handlebars? The engine heats up so hot and vibrates so much it will break the gasket down sooner or later. Just make sure the bolts are torqued correctly. And the surface is clean. That will be fine.. | ||
