i'm looking for a new sled and came across a 98 zr 600 efi with low km. he want 4800 canadian for it, is that to much? he's moving where there is no snow so thats why he is selling it. he only had the sled for one year and his buddy had the sled before that, his buddy suposibly did the piston on it because of the recall. and the clutch has been rebuilt last year. is this a good sled? is the price to high? should i try to bring him down?
any one have problems with efi?
i hate playing with carbs when i could be riding! so looking for the upgrade.

selling the 95ext580 with blowing piston skert for $650 good price?

thanks

$4800 CDN is way too much money for that machine, even if it's absolutely mint - it wouldn't fetch much more than $3000 - 3500.

Nice sled.............WAY TOO MUCH MONEY.
I agree with Hossman at 3-$3500 Canadian. Lots of bargains out there again this year.

They are a nice sled but are a first year model and did have a few bugs. Granted some people have had great luck with them and others have had nothing but troubles.
Though that price is WAY to much, like said they are selling around 3000-3500 and where he is moving and wont be able to use the sled, after enough time he will let it go for cheap.

I ride the same sled. Just for you to compare, if I was going to sell mine right now, I would like to get around 2500 CDN. It's in pretty good shape, but would be considered a high mileage sled (6500 on it).

Yup, way too much, I bought my 99 3 yrs ago for $4200 with only 1700 miles on it.
As said they seem to be going quite cheap so far this year.
