: How Hard To Change Rear Springs?

I am pretty sure my rear springs are shot since my sled is riding so low, and easily bottoms out. I just replaced the rear shcok.

It looks like it may be a pain to change the 2 rear springs.

Has anyone done this? Is it easy? Any advice?

Thanks for your advice!

get actual arctic cat springs as aftermarket are not the same, i put a pair of what they said was for a jad and couldnt get it to compress at all lol. youll have to drop the suspension and remove those plastic keepers. fairly easy to do

Getting the upper idler wheels off is a chore.

Thanks - I may have someone else do it. In the end it will most likely be cheaper and result in a lot less cussing :dazed:

cheaper, no
less cussing, yes

those upper bearings probably need replacing anyway.

with proper tools it's not bad. 90 degree snap ring pliers, three jaw puller to get idler wheels and bearings off. oh ya hammer lol
