I saw this car on TV over the weekend, on the TV show, RIDES. I am not one to usually get caught up in these shows, but I like the content. Anyways, this is a 70 Cuda built for Joe Rogan, the guy who hosts Fear Factor.
To me, the fun would be building it, not paying someone $150k for a restored car, but man is is sweet. 24" rims, lowered to the ground, clean simple paint, and oh yea, a 700hp all aspirated Fuel Injected Hemi. Just a super clean machine

I just cringe when I see someone take a sweet car like a 1970 Cuda and customize it like that. To me, this is what a 1970 Cuda should look like. I'm just not a fan of customs. I like 'em stock.

Yeah, but you know that Chip Foose cannot leave anything stock and Troy Trepanier can't build a restoration. At least they didn't start with $100,000 + 426 Hemi Cuda. I have a '70, it is not a Cuda, but I think it was one of the few good looking cars they built back then.

It's pretty. Once my 69 Firebird Convertible comes back from the shop I'll post some pics. Going back to factory stock as much as possible on it.

They actually started with a clunker. It was good as far as metal condition, but it had been all hill-billied out. I even think it had a 6 cyl in it.
I think it does justice to the shape and appeal of the car. They did not "godify" it, like the cars on the Boyd Coddington show. This car made the ones on that show look like they were built by the guys down at AutoZone.
I think it is cool, cause they take a good car and improve it all away around. not just a trailer honey.
Like they said on the show, imagine pulling up next to some guy in Long Beach with his new BMW M3, and he is gawking at your ride, with that big ol elephant thumping the ground.

My fav is the 1970 hemi cuda convertible Don Johnson drove in Nash Bridges. Only 11 were ever made. That was going to be my mid life crisis car but the price changed that.
