I am new to the GPS thing and bought the Garmin V. I have used it for speed readings on my boat and also played with the driving directions that it comes with. All is pretty cool. I plan on using it for my sled this year and wanted to know what I would need to add if anying. I see that people pinned some GPS maps on this site, can I download those on there? Should I buy the Topo mapping software? What about the software it comes with? Also, I plan I hooking it up to a cigarette lighter on my sled. Any advice would be appreciated.
