A guy I know has a Wildcat 700 EFI that he is selling because it is flooding out.He says it goes through gas like crazy. He didn't say what year it was,but it only has a little over 2000 miles. He is asking $700 U.S.My questions are,Can the EFI be adjusted?,Can it be converted to carbs.?What would it cost?Could the injectors just be clogged,or is this a sign of the EFI going? What do places normally charge for testing the EFI?Are EFI sleds worth the hassle?Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!

EFI sleds are great. If the sled is flooding out it could be a million things. Just like a car there are sensors every where. It could be an easy fix or the ecu could be junk. If the ecu is junk the sled is worth nothing but parts. You'll spend more for a new box than the sled is worth. To change the sled over to carbs you will also spend more than it's worth. Carbs, stator, mechanical hardware etc....
good luck

On the side of the computer box is a light and it blinks and tells you if something is wrong.I have the codes for that year of sled I have 1 also so if you can look at it and watch how many blinks it does like short or long or a combo of both and how many. I can look it up for you.As far as if its the computer the sled is parts I would beg to differ.I have had my sled 2 years and have seen atleast 4 computers on ebay for them going for 50-60 bucks .I got one and it works fine so I have a spare. But thats up to you.
