I'm just wondering how the '93-94 Mach 1 617s were? I have a chance to get a '93? Mach 1 617, long track, with about 4000kms with a rebuilt motor for a decent price.

What do these motors run? How do they sleds handle?

Thanks- Neil

The 93-94 were 670's..

Yep, 670's. I owned a '92 Mach 1 with the 617, the last year for that engine. It was a decent machine - lots of power, handled like a tank. Sounds kind like my current ride.... :dazed:

ok, maybe it is a '92. So these motors are fairly fast? Are they reliable? Would this be a good sled/ thanks.

I think the motor would be a good motor. Dont quote me but I thought that they were based off of the 583. As far as the chassie though, I dont know what you are gaining over your old MX. IMO, go with the XLT that you are looking at over this. Or take the best of both worlds back then and combine them like I am doing, put the Rotax motor in a Polaris chassie. :D
