Hello people

I thought I would introduce myself, seeing that im a new member. *I live in very north central indiana (about 2 mins from michigan). *Ive been riding since I was about 6 yrs. old. *Currently I got the following sleds in my inventory;
1. 1974 John Deere 340 Spitfire---its in prime condition
2. *1987 540 SRV --- all *stock, very dependable, got a deal
3. *1995 700 Wildcat---all mods, pipes, big bore, carbs, clutch
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *(its pretty #### fast)
4. *2003 pro x 440---its on order

No, I choose the name firstly because it is the same name i use in other forums, hotmail, and as my generic user name all over. *

Glad to see you finaly made it over to the better side. This is were the adults hang out and talk sleds. Not dissing the other side but recently it has been falling to the lesser minded.As the rest have said though it is slow over here now but it will pickup as soon as the drags start then people start to get fired up about sleds. Remember the official start of winter is the second weekend of sept in Lino Lakes Mn near Minneapolis, the event is called Haydays and it is huge.

Well thank you guys. *I do have to say that after this week Ill be switching jobs and most likely not have the availability to the net as much as I do now. *Just for your FYI, *right now im a buyer for an ambulance manufacturer, but as on 6-17-02 (monday) ill be starting my new job as "Corporate Buyer" for AM General (Home of the Hummer, H2, and military Humvee) *It should be fun, but like i said i wont be able to post at work most likely, so ill have to do it from home. *Dont worry though, im a crazy sled head so ill be here alll summer and winter (well at least when im not riding).

Welcome aboard TATA...I too am from and currently live in the same area as you. *I grow up Mishawaka and graduated from that huge high school just east of the hummer plant (I&#39;m sure you know which one I&#39;m referring to). *For almost the last 20 years I have lived over in Laporte area, but mother and brother live in aforementioned town. *Hopefully we&#39;ll be able to maybe hookup on one of the local trail systems, I really like the Galien, MI stretch of the Buffalo Run trail, but run all the way to the UP when necessary. *From my user name you can probably gather what type of sleds I prefer.

I&#39;m ready for a job change so let me know when I should go pounding on the Hummer plant door.

Hope you really like your new sled.

I too like the tatas, but prefer the leg and buns area...as my ol lady has legs all the way up to @$$

Definitely Lickin&#39; we will have to meet up on the trail sometime.

I usually ride the buffalo run myself, in fact my parents (who store my sleds for me, seeing that i live in an apart.) *live about 1/4 mile from the start, right near Green School. *But i know where your at, *ive ran up to the Bungalo in Galien a couple of times. *I also ride the Edwardsburg Loop when i get a chance. *But defenitely, i take regular trips to cadillac, Gaylord areas, I got the truck and the big trailer so if you want to ride let me know. *Im always up for new company. *Plus it will give you plenty of time to study the new tail light of a polaris pro x.

Sounds good...just upgraded my Z71 to the 2500HD, we&#39;re looking at a V-nose&#39;s(4 pl) right now to replace the tilt 2 place. *Just have schmooze the wife a little more. *We get on at SB Speedway also, they&#39;ve got a lot more parking. *We took our first trip to UP this past March and had a blast. *Talk at ya later

Im not sure really what you guys are implying, i was just saying that i didnt know there was rules for posting messages. *I dont know if you think im someone else, but ive never been apart of any snowmobile forum before except Max, and thats only been for the last month. *Im just so ****** excited that i finally got to order a new sled that i cant wait for winter. *And figured as green as I am to this sport it would probably be a good thing to hang out with some people that actually knew what they were doing. *This way if i ever got myself into trouble or had a question maybe someone with some experience could help. *So please dont be comparing me to some other guy on this site, because im not him.

Tata, I don&#39;t think anyone here wants to impinge on what the next person says. In the time that I&#39;ve checked out the forums & been a member, I&#39;ve only seen 1 person banned & a totally rediculous thread (that poor abused ZX tunnel) *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/withstupid.gif "locked". Longer term members, may be aware of other incidents.

After the member was banned, we discussed what would be an informal content rule. Some suggested that if you couldn&#39;t discuss it in church, maybe you shouldn&#39;t post it.

The other day some people might have thought the GM truck thread may have got a bit hot. The GM truck thread being removed is the first one that I disagree with the decision on. *Oh well. That&#39;s the way it goes I guess.
