It was a close decision between the Firecat and Thundercat (or any triple) but I voted for the F-cat. Great power + Light weight = Lots of Fun. The next on my list would be the Turbo 600 ST.

Can't beat the wicked power, aggression, looks and just the pure SIZZLE of the new FIRECATS.

That's my next weapon. A black F7 EFI.

I choose ZR on experience. Gotta like those 2007 F sleds though. By the sound of the reviews they've set a new standard for handling and comfort.

you forgot about vintage

What about the Cheetah or the Panther or El tigre? I know this isnt the vintage forum, but man have some respect for the older machines

I voted for the Pantera but I mean the older model. Also, you should have put in one more choice.

A Cat that doesn't break down.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning to getting a utility machine as a second sled. So, I'd like to have a 440 Bearcat, one of the ones in the big cab they had a few years ago. Stick a set of monster bar risers on there so I could stand up everywhere I go, and I'd be all set.

For the places I sled, hands down the M-series. I have a zr 700, and I like it. Handles great, good power, and with the 144x2" climbs good also. But I rode some of those M's. And those walk the walk. Just my 2 cents.

I love the nimble handleing of the M7, especially for boondocking.
I sold my 144" EFI for a 153" with carbs. The Attac system by Holtzman works slick at any altitude and temperature.

I have owned several models to include a ZR500, M6, pantera 660, now crossfire 700 piped and worked this one is my favorite it hadles the trails well and has the guts to tackle the powder and hills. nice.

ZR all the way, actually any sled based on the ZR3 chassis. Love the lines of those models.

My vote goes to the ZR. That chassis is a classic, and honestly, I think it's still perfectly capable of holding it's own with the new machines. The new sleds may have a better seating position, and may have a bit more power, but the ZR is a very capable machine, and also very durable. I've got a ZL SS, which isn't as strong as the ZR, but still withstood a LOT of abuse and stayed reliable.

I think that if I bought a ZR Cross Country back in 02 instead of my ZL SS, I probably would have had no desire to buy a new sled.

Not that I'm complaining about my Crossfire. :D

Its a hard to pick I say kitty kat

kitty cat.

im a yamaha guy, but the kitty cat gets the youngins into the sport! I started on a 1972(3?) polaris colt 295...top speed might have been 25, but it would literally float through the powder! just didnt weigh much at all. Wish I had been smart enough to get it from my grandpa to restore but it was sold in his shop auction when he sold the shop. even had twin carbs...:)

i should buy a kitty cat and put a phazer engine in it :D or...on it...?
