well *in polaris the xc and xcr mean stuff *do zr and zrt and zl mean anything ??

I'm not sure if the Z stands for anything..it might just be a model designation. *The R is Racing, RT is for Racing Triple, and L is for liquid.

Knew I read it somewhere before, found it again in my "Legends" book. In 1975 they introduced the *El Tigre "Z", named after primary designer Dennis Zulawski,had extruded aluminum slide rails on it. So the designation has been around for awhile now.

what about ext jag hmm cant think of anymore models with just letters...

EXT goes way back to the early Arctic racing days also. *If I remember correctly, it stood for EXTerminator.

Yup Ext is for Exterminator.
