I come here everyday and see new members online that i have never seen before, but none of them are posting anything except for a very scattered one and i am curious as to why not. We have over 3500 members and the most i ever see online is 10 or 15 where is everyone?? *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif There is only a handfull of us that check in everyday.

Jason, I commented on that a couple of weeks ago. When people were talking about the lack of activity. I added up the pages of members & arrived at a similiar number. Maybe Corey can rig something to give them a shock when they log on. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/devil.gif
Make Snowmobile World your homepage or you'll keep getting the shocks

Dan, The top 20-30 posters don't make all of the posts, there are still little people like myself who just don't feel like posting unless they know everything about the topic. *I have 100 something posts, and lately, I've been trying to post and post, but I just can't seem to say anything!

without trying to bust anybodies bubble or point the spotlight,
i've seen Snow Monkey has an amazing 8.64 ppd in a short three months
now thats a feat in its own right http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/exclamation.gif

anyway, back to the original question:

i like to post, but often can't add comment to technical side, its easy to chitchat and i like it,
my 'start a new post' are snowmobile related comments.
as a result i have *a respectable 1.43 ppd * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

That is why * *you at 1482 post 5.79 ppd
* * * * * * * * * *me at 1260 post *2.79ppd

You get more posts per day cause i signed in 2 years ago....

I can't believe revrnd is ahead of snowmonkey and corey!
I think those posts per day mean more than the total. *Example: *midnight screamer hit 500 posts in 2 or 3 months (obviously had a high average) but now hardly ever shows. *So he's in the top 25 list, but I bet his average is pretty low again.
The average is a better indicator of how consistently you are on the board.
Or how consistently you have something to say.

I joined a year or so ago. But till Machzzzz1 put this zx/trip motor project into my life I had only posted around 160 times
I've added over 70 post's in a week or two. Plus I chime in on anything I know about now or makes me laugh!

If it's about trail riding or a destination in Ontario, I'll try my best & throw in my 2 cents.

IndySKS, I enjoyed your posts about the OFSC. Maybe if there were less "vision impaired" people running the show, we'd be somewhat happier.

Hello everyone. this is my first post. i, like a lot of people dont want to say anything because we dont know 100% about the topic. I am on here everynight usually reading all the great stuff on the boards. There is a lot of great information on here, plus a lot of fun and interesting stuff. I am in the process of putting a Ski Doo motor in an Indy chassie. Something that a lot of you did a while ago. I live in western PA and dont get much snow, plus going to college dint get much time, but love to snowmobile. Keep up all the great work everybody! Its fun just to read what all of you have to say. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Hey Rev, The OFSC has been kinda quiet lately . Not much going on that they are passing down to us right now. The last information I had from them was the Skake holders meeting in late April. I bet they are saving all the big surprizes till the AGM in Sept. . Wonder what crisis we will have this year ? *Well I have been too busy with club stuff and our district is working on map so any spare time I have is spent on that. If I hear any news I'll let you know.

Like you said race set ups aren't my thing either...I'm one of those lazy touring guys that just sit and ride. My big modification this year is to put a 1 1/4 track on my *600 Classic touring so I can go play in the powder and get that tank stuck and have all sorts of fun digging it out.

On another site, there's an article about the Ontario Trails Council recognizing the work the OFSC has done over the years. A mention of the OTC, describes it as such:

The Ontario Trails Council is an independent, membership/volunteer driven, not-for-profit association founded in 1988 to promote the creation, development, preservation, management, and use of an integrated recreational trail network throughout Ontario.

Has anyone heard of this group before? Are they trying to ride in on the OFSC's work? Do they have anything to do with the Trans-Canada Trail? I read a while back in the National Post, that the TCT wasn't impressed with the use of ATVs on the Trail. Since the Trail used a lot of snowmobile trails, they weren't adverse to snowmobiles being on the Trans-Canada Trail
