I bought a heavy duty (#3,500 axle) Miska back in '96. It's a galvanized steel trailer, that unlike alot of trailers out there doesn't suffer from "bed flex". I got tired of taking the canvas travel covers on and off the sleds, so I bought two "Toy Carrier" covers and installed them. The trailer had to be lengthened 8" to install the covers, but it's a welded extension, and it was done well. Before I installed the covers, I re-wired the trailer and put a new floor down.
Fast forward to today .... I stretched my Rev out to a 136" and it doesn't fit in my trailer ... I have to take the bumper off and re-install it when we get to our destination, a bit of a drag, which is why I'm selling. There is nothing wrong with this trailer other than it is about 2" too short.
The trailer was $1200 when I bought it, and the carriers were $800 each. I also have installed a pair "super clamps" ski clamps at $160 a pop. I've got over $3,000 invested so I think $2,000 is reasonable.
