Me and my 3 riding buddies are starting to plan our yearly ride. Want to leave form Sudbury and do a 6 day loop ride heading west to the Sault and then north and back south east. Anyone have any suggestions for a full trip plan? Towns to aim for at the end of each day. Places to stay. Places to eat. Things to see. Unforgettable trails to ride?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Read the other thread you started about Sudbury to Sault. I put a link in there to Revrnds Mileage and Motel spreadsheet.

Figure out how many KM's a day you would like to ride? If you are all experienced sledders, you should have no problem doing 350 km/day. Thats a 8 hour day probably with gas stops, lunch stops, and no trail problems. Them from there use the spreadsheet and the top trail map to find your best locations. Will take a few rearrangements usually but you will finally get a tour to suit you and your buddys.

I planned a 7 day trip. Starting in Sault, to Dubreuilville, Terrace Bay, Geraldton, Hearst, Cochrane, Chapleau, back to Sault. Its all about riding with our group. 8 -9 hours a day for the trip. Others like to ride 5 or 6 hours and stop. Tailor your trip specifically to your group of people.

If you stay in Wawa check out No. Lights Motel (http://www.nlmotel.com/) Mo and John are great people and run a great place.
