A bunch of co-workers are planning a ride in Northern Ontario this winter. One of their days has them going from Sudbury to Timmins. They are concerned about the availability of gas between these two places. Does anyone have any up-to-date info on gas stations between Sudbury and Timmins?

Thanks

If you're taking the "C" trail, there is gas in Shining Tree.

Gas @ Mattagami east of Gogama on the C trail as well. If they can get gas there, it'll save a trip in & out of Gogama.

I would second that...the gas in Mattagami is cheaper than Shining tree AND it's right on the trail. If you fill up in Mattagami, making Timmins should not be a problem. It wasn't for my 500cc and my buddies 998cc 4-stroke.

I wouldn't recommend running this too hard at night. There are some pretty windly bits with bridges that come out of nowhere. I had a close call last year.
