what is the horsepower of an 01 MXZ 600??

right around 108

I saw a 01 GT 600 (same engine) run on the Land and Sea dyno and it put out 112 hp. *take it for what it is worth (room temp was 70 deg F)

I was originaly told 112 by spec sheets but 108 sounds about right. I have a 99 MXZ 600 and thats what the boys told me. Sledcrazy what kind of top end can you get out of your MXZ 600? *I can get about 100 - 102 Mph.

yea my MAX was 109mph this year. *had a tough time beating a 99 500 xc, but that was becuz his was running lean, and after i got my carbs fixed and everything that was recalled on my sled running normal it smoked it, but that is expected. *i weight around 170lbs and i get around 105mph top end.

Those are good top speed #s for those 600s. 109 mph you must have been driving down a hill or what. That seems fairly fast. Although I hit 100 mph with two people on my sled about 350lbs total. MXZr, not knocking the dyno but you will find there is 10% plus or minus factor on them one may read 10 hp more than the next in the 100 hp range.our sprint motor was 787 at foxco and only 767 at gaertes for instance.I used the same dyno for about 4 years.the guy moved away.now I am looking for a new dyno for sleds, I am thinking track dyno myself not sure yet.

well im getting a REV 600ho. *but i heard its unstable at high speeds. *so im not giong to be doing lake running daily.
