I have noticed this, maybe some others also have, that everyone seems to be starting some heated conversations about brands, technology, etc. *I hope that people realize this and calm that down, for that is what this fine website does not need. *You are, of coarse, entitled to your own opinion and you can express it, but some people are just taking that too far.

Steven your right but lets face the facts.

Its heated topics that get people on this site to begin with.

I dont mean topics that are trash, or personal, i mean topics that are two diffrent and honest opinions creating a good argument. *If things get out of control we have the moderators to make sure they stay in control. *

I moderate the bombardier ATV fourm in ATVworld and i wish i had somthing to moderate. *We gotta keep these guys on the ball.

So to get back to it, *I keep hearing people say "bring it to a trash forum". *Well if you go to a trash forum, its not even worth talking to anyone, *People will trash you for just posting. *Here you get your opinion heard and you hear feedback. *These types of forums make everyone on them smarter and more aware of the diffrent styles and belives out there. *

We owe all of this to Corey and the excellent Moderation on this site. *Thanks.

What if someone only wants to talk about the positive of the brand he likes and lots more about the negative of other brands that he does not even own that may or maynot be true..

To talk about any "diffrent and honest opinions" on a sled you should first own it or have owned it in the past. That would then give you a GOOD opinion of what your talking about. That is what makes everyone on SW smarter.

Yeah. *But im around people that own a sled from every manufactor. *I drive them, Help fix them, Race them. *I got a pretty good idea of whats good and whats not.

But your right. *If you dont know, dont go.

I don't think we need to start anything with anyone.

I also have taken my buddy sled for a ride, looked under the hood a time or two and race lots of ski-doos. Members ask for help with doo problems should I give them my "diffrent and honest opinions" about the sled they bought? NO.
My opinion wont help them or make them smarter, lots of good people on here have had the same problem and can fix the problem or help. My 2 cents is not needed and problably not wanted.

We all get to know one an other around here, i no for a fact the if a have a Yamaha question Toydoc would be my first choice, if its a machz question, then i would go for Zmachman...etc *But i agree if you dont no what you talking about why even bother. If you doing it just to get post's use the chit chat.
