Congrats and welcome to Team Blue!! I know that you won't be disappointed by that machine. I think I've probably mentioned it before (at length), but my first ride on the RX-1 last season really surprised me at how good it really is. And with the new suspension for 05, it's only gonna be better....

Nice, but now you have to get yer name changed, lol :bash: . Also the article in my snowtech says that if you don't take advantage of the suspension dial on the side you need smacked. So for your safety, and enjoyment play around witrh it, lol. I gotta agree with the Hossman everything ppl say about them (bad) is obviously becuase they want it to be bad. My first ride on one was great. Enjoy the snow!!! And get yer name changed!!!

- After about 3 rides on that baby, you won't ever own another stinkey two stroke again.
- You riding buddies are going to all be pissed at you because you will alway use less fuel that they do.
- You are going to have this strange feeling after the sled gets about 1500 miles on it... you will think there is some maintenace that needs to be done, like re-ring it, re-build the clutch, clean the power valves or something like that.... then you will wake up and realize that you bought a Yamaha and only the other brands need to do any of that stuff!

Actually I am working on that as we speak. Going to try and change it to something general, like Tech Editor or something like that, so it helps people find me on the site.

I really like the color on the sled. It is actually a flat or satin black, not glossy.

Beautiful machine Dave, and I agree, the colour is great when seen in person.

Congrats and welcome to the blue blood world! I love my RX-1 and with the improvements and weight loss, you should be truly impressed! I've seen the color set-up on the dealer's floor-really nice.

I have always wanted to drive one of those machines but I am afraid that if I ride it I will like it and have to buy one for myself..........and I DONT have the money :crazy:

awsome sled!!!.......that has to be the best looking sled........i say this because i just bought the same exact one. and let me say that the picture does no justice to that color. its the best looking color on any sled. good luck and cant wait to get on mine too.

I'm leaning this way too. Unless Cat does something really cool for '06 I think I'll be riding a Warrior or Rage.
