I got a SC-10 off a 98 MXZ 670

The shocks are HPGs but not sure what type

I notice on the bottom part of the shock bodies there is a screw of some sort :dazed:

My rear HPGs on my C7 did not have that screw

Can someone tell me if that is there for service aka recharge or rebuild?

I read conflicting reports on this shock on wheter it is rebuidable or not :bash:

thanx in advance :)

Yes, the shocks are rebuildable. '98 was the first year for the take-a-part HPG's for the 670...

I have had great results from Goodwin Performance in Illinois. Their number is 847-872-4001, and website is www.goodwinperformance.com. They will rebuild your shocks for $25 each, and will give you a same day turn around.
