Thats a good question, myself I don't have much of a poker face and usually end up feeling like I got the short end of the stick.

If you do find an X Gade, you will most likely pay list price as they will be in short supply. The best way to get a good deal is to visit as many dealers as possible and get price quotes and note what they may be offering with the sled. Then take your best deal to the dealer you wish to give your business to and see if they will price match, most will. If you really like a certain dealer be prepared to spend a little more for the service you like. I''ve found that most dealers don't come down much on prices just by dickering, but if he see's that your going to buy somewhere else because of a cheaper price then they will negotiate.

im going to buy 2 of them and i was hoping that the dealer would add in electric strart for free The problem is that there are only 2 skidoo dealers around me. ( according to Skidoo.com )
Last year i also purchased my first new sled. I was in the same boat as you. Try and buy from a local dealer. Why? well last year i could have got a better deal at a dealer that was located a good 1 hr drive out of town, but i bought from a cat dealer in town. Its so much easier when it comes to warranty work if you have to take the sled back for checkups and what not. Too save a few hundred dollars it just doesnt make sense to drive out of your way.
Also, never go in and buy the first day. make offers, and let them sit on it for a few days. You never have to pay the sticker price. Also a lot of times you can get maybe a cover, or some other accesories thrown in on the deal.

I have learned, as alot of others have also. Doesn't matter what commodity you are buying, you get what you pay for. This is true with dealerships also I feel. You might get a rock bottom price, that is unbelievable, but is the service you get awsome also. I am willing to pay a bit more, for the best service I can get. You can still deal with them, but don't expect miracles.
If it seems to good to be true, it might be. Investigate a bit more.

I bought my first new sled 2 years ago. I am not a good dickerer. I went to see the 2 local ski-doo dealers in my area. I checked adds and called others for prices. I got a good price over the phone from a dealer 3 hrs away. Went to see the local dealers again and when they didn't want to match, I drove the 3 hrs and got an even better deal when I got there. They through in a cover and spare belt and plugs. I still took it to the local dealer for servicing and he said he didn't think I would drive that far for a deal. He took great care of me from then on.
Point being do some research.
And it doesn't matter where you buy, you can get it serviced anywhere.

Very true, but if you need it in a hurry, and want it done right away, you will probably have to wait for it, while they take care of there customers that bought from them.
Any the possibility is there that you might not get the same deals on parts and accessories.
