has anyone with a REV {mine is a 2004 adrenaline} ever removed the cap screws in the lower ball joints and installed grease fittings to grease those once in awhile ?

hey,
I've asked around and nobody has done it that I know, but it sure looks like you could. Let me know if it works.

Paul,

As in any ball joint lube, put in just enough grease to force the water out of the boot/seal. It's the water that does most of the damage.

Paul,to answer your original question,I have installed grease zerks on my rev. As you already know, just one or two pumps will do.

what size is that pipe thread ? i have a few grease nipples with 1/8" npt and i wouldn't dare try to tighten them in with a wrench because i know the threads will skip.

i couldn't find grease nipples that had the same threads as the ball joint caps. i had to use the grease nipples i had and finger tightened them in the greased the ball joint. i took the nipples out and replaced the cap.
