Hey everybody, I just joined the forum and I been thinking a lot about the 600 Switchback and I was wondering if anybody have any feebback or anything to say about the snowmobile. I'm thinking about getting one maybe next week or so. So if ya got any info and anything about please post, thanks!

Also I've been thinking should I go for the 600 or the 800 where there isn't any 700 out this season but is there there a big difference in power and speed between the 600 and 800 liberty motors you say or what?

Either one will make you happy, but I would suggest the 800. There's no disadvantage to having the 8 other than the purchase price, and lots of advantages. THe 8 has alot more power (obviously) but it also has alot more engine protection technology and gets better gas milage.
They're great sleds though. You'll be very happy with it.

Hey guys! thanks for your opinions so far, I'm still debating but I'll talk to my dad about it later on and see how much more the 800 is compared to the switchback and is it really better on gas then the 800? and how so? I know it got DET that helps it start on cold morning and better for higher altitude when mountain riding and makes the effort of starting it easier which is a good thing but we'll see what happens in the end of the month I guess.

If I were you, I'd get a leftover '04 if possible. Much cheaper, for the same sled. THe only thing Poo changed for '05 (aside of the colors) was putting in different shock which actually DECREASED the front susp travel by about 1/2".
I wouldn't get a 600. Too much track to turn. Bigger is better.

well I tried to get a 04 model but they got none in stock and there no other dealers they can get them off without costing even more to ship them in ya see, but I think my dad wants the 600 since he already got a 600 in the egde touring but I don't know, we'll see by the end of the month hopefully.

Hey all, just figure I would post my update on the situation. The other day my dad did put down his money on a brand new snowmobile, but unfortantly its the snowmobile I told him I didn't want and wouldn't go in on, the Yamaha RS Venture TF so that really sucks, no switchback or anything fun for me to drive this season, just 3 two-up snowmobile and a short track 380 snowmobile so that sucks ### but dad told me I can go get my own snowmobile this spring :slick: so I'll see then if I'm staying here in town or moving and will keep my eye out on about the 900 switchback people are talking about, I'm very interested in it hmm....
