Which one is faster? Which one is a better pick?

hm, well first I think you should compare apples with apples. THey're 2 different sleds. The F7 is more of an agressive, ditch banger. The sabercat on the other hand, is more of a high performance trail luxury sled. In this case, it's an ext, for those who like to take it off trail. In a race I would definetly put my money on the F7, because of the fact the Sabercat is an Ext (more track to turn) and the F7 is more race oriented. Just my 2 cents.

My 04ext will out accelerate (presumably because of increased traction) my 02zr 800 both have 140 hp. and weight the same. My zr does not have electric start or reverse. Both are studded. :D

I would say that top end would be the F7 just for the fact of the ext, more weight, but I would agree with artichuck about more traction, so the hole shot would go to the sabercat. They are basically the same sled, difference being race vs touring. :withstupid:

you wanting to ride trails or ride ditches??? the f7 is the better choice for the ditches and banging,,, but the sabercat will hammer the trails and still hold its own in the ditches,,,,

I happen to think that the F7 would be faster all around... my buddy has an f7 and another has the 700 ext and the thing is that you would think the traction would help but the ext has more track to push with the same HP. in powder the ext will take off great, but on hard pack the f7 is stiffer so will get a great whole shot.... and its also throwing more hp to the track. ( i mean hp per inch of track)
