ive made up my mind to get a 95 zr 440. *i traded my 99 xcf towards it and they gave me $1100 http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif . i was wondering how to tell if its a sno pro. i didnt know they even made zr 440's in 95 untill now. *ive always been into polaris so i dont really know much about cats. thanks
They didnt make a "sno-pro" until 1998. It has a few things that werent available on the consumer models but was essentially the same sled as the "580zr" of that year. I had one and had absolutely no troubles in 2000 miles. I also owned a 96'-97'-and currently have a 98' chassis with a 711 D&D motor. A good upgrade would be a newer "arctco" clutch.

i agree with 711, sno-pros werent production sleds until 98 but i think you could have gotten a few in 97. I have heard of some.
