I've recently put plastic skis on my sled and got rid of my old metal ones. But, I'm noticing that my skis (both sides) have a slight lean to the inside. They are aligned properly but for some reason they lean slightly. I don't believe it could be the skis themselves, because the metal ones also did it. When I look at the steering knuckle and the rest of the front end, it also has the slight lean to it. Could this be because the front shocks are in need of replacement and the front end is sitting too low?? I'm hoping nothing is bent in the front end, I don't ride the sled that hard.

thanks,

kev

it's squatting probably because of the springs more then the shocks. i'm not saying the shocks are not pooched but weak springs are the problem here if the radius arms are almost flat not facing down toward the swingarm. if the springs are in good shape then hopefully your top radius is adjustable and you can lengthen it to flatten the stance of the skis.

my wife has a 97 formula that i put flex skis on this yr . hers also does it . its the camber in the spindle theres another hole down below the bottom radis rod on the spindle. by moving it it will straighten it up and level your skis . NOTE ** this might make it more tippy at times cause your changing the attack angle of your ski . try it but becarefull the first time out get use to it .some have said it will corner flatter! . your going to be happy you switch skis to start . the old dsa front end came with equal radis rods w/no adjusters for camber .the adsa did in 99 on the zx chassi . if your shocks are cranked all the way up you might want to follow pauls lead too .
