do you need a battery to run the pyro 2001?? *and what is normal engine temp?

From what I have read the pyro 2000 needed to be wired into the electrical system on the sled and I would guess the 2001 would be the same. *You wouldn't have to have a battery on the sled though. *As far as average temp goes all models are different. *If you ask about a specific model someone on here should know or be able to look up probe placement and average operating temp.
