I wish I could but we never carry a camera when we ride. Also most of use are chicken when it comes to big stuff except for John Corneillie maybe but I think he has no will to live and he tends to love pain. I myself think catching big air is jumping off mysled when it is sitting still. I got a good scare a couple of years ago when John broke his back.

Dude I would edit the last part of your post. this is a family forum and Cory and the moderatos don't go for that kind of language here even the creative spelling will bring you a warning. Just thought I would warn you because people have been banned for using that type of language in here.

You guys were r4al men to ride those sleds back then let alone airing them out like that. I about killed myseld on a old JD 600 a few winters ago. i was riding through a plowed field trying to adjust the gut sucking carb while riding. That thiong was alot fater then I thought it could be real quick. I had to thow my feet down like training wheels. I'll take our nice wide ski stance of todays sleds.

The best part about toydoc's pic up there is that scarf flying straight back of that guy's neck. *Fits perfectly with the sled.

i'm assuming the best approch is to land the sled as flat as possible? *how would my 95 Mach 1 stand the impact?

phazerhater
07-30-2002, 08:03 PM
Your mach would most likely nose dive.LOL *My 600 zert has a hard time keeping the nose up w/throtle pinned the whole time, so I'm sure the 700 would have similiar results. *It also depends on the ramp/jump too.
And best way to land is a "little" bit nose up, not flat, on a level jump. *When going from ramp to ramp / \ its a different story...
All in all, I wouldn't jump the mach too high. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I agree with phazerhater, my friend had a mach195 and had sold it when he tried to keep up with me...
You have take off from a tree or something with the throttle smashed into your handlebar to keep the nose up.
Most of us knows that you cant get much airtime if your sled isnt so balanced, or you can but when its hitting the ground again, hahaha you better find your mig and put together your chassis again...

just my two cents...

I saw all of the pics and i think your all nuts. *But then i saw toydocs pic. *

Toydoc dont tell me this guy is still alive. *It looks like hes 5 stories high going of a cliff. *On a sled with .4 cm of suspention travle. *And HAHAHA the scarf just flying behind him. *

<alscool> Dont think of it that way, just find out your sleds limit...that way you can go BIG if youre going to put your ### on a balanced sled.... http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Nothing to spectacular but I'm bored. *The landings were kinda hard with only 2 inches of snow. *The only thing we could find to jump were ditches cause there wasn't enough snow hopefully next winter is better.
