Did you mount this in the same holes as the original? I put one of these into a 92 Wildcat but I moved the suspension forward and up to reduce the rear end height. It also made quite a difference in the weight transfer when letting off for corners.

The ride is a big improvement over the old one that was in the sled.

HEre is the 92 Wildcat with a 2002 suspension installed.

No, I have to use the second kit of hole on brackets before and I have took my distance centre in center to drill my rear holes. And please send my many pic!

That looks like a long track. Did you use rail extensions? I installed a ZL skid frame in my old ZR many years ago and it is by far the best money I've spent on that machine.

Just interested in what adjustments you had to make... 96 was non ETT and 2003 is ETT so there has to be some adjustments to the tunnell and suspension so you dont go damaging the tunnel if you bottom it out

No adjustments are required. I've never had a problem with the suspension or track contacting the tunnel at the rear, or anywhere else. I am running a 1.25 track and the TSL lets you run it very loose. I do suppose it could happen, with weak springs and extreme tail landing, but in my experience I'd say it is nothing to worry about.

Yes, I use homemade rail extensions because my skid frame is 2.5 po in rear for lower attack angle of the track  :!: for Powderboy I am going to take photo to explain probably tomorrow :(

You don't need the ETT tunnel to put the TSL style skid in. I have done a half dozen of these and it works fine. The ETT style tunnel allows you some over travel (it's the same for both style skids) if you land it on the tail almost vertical. That is why they added the bend to the tunnel. You will see some non ETT tunnels that are bent a little in the back from landing them almost vertical when jumping.

i have a question--what happened to your snow flap?

is it a strap for not of snow flap inside a track

I had a problem with the snow flap getting sucked in on top of the track. Instead of using a strap from the bumper to keep the flap away from the track I placed a piece of sheet metal under the flap. Now more track chewing up the end of the flap and no more overheating on the trails.

when I put the rear suspenion on my 900 back in,,, (97 with ett) I put my rear suspension through the bracket that is under the running board,,,, yet when I took it off, I seem to remember that it was originally mounted through that bracket, but higher up and through the tunnel also,,,,
which is correct,,, it appears yours is mounted like mine is now, and I think I like it better this way with the rear suspension higher.
I know the previous owner of my sled ran it in grass drags,,, so I am wondering if the suspension was lowered for that or if I am forgetting something here,,,,

The normal mounting point is up in the tunnel. The under tunnel mount points are intended for deep snow and powder track clearance. If you like it down below the tunnel it shouldn't be a problem.

I too dropped my suspension down for the reason that when I would hit jumps my front end would always go straight up in the air, no matter if I held her pinned or hit the brakes to drop the front end down. I have noticed since I have lowerd mine that it jumps evenly as it does shift the wieght more to the front end. I am very happy with the way my sled handles since I have lowered my suspension. Only thing I fear is my sliders buring up fast as there is a lot more pressure on the front of the skid since I lowered the front end of the skid to match the rear end of the skid.
