Hey guys!

I am planning my first snowmobile trip. My family is taking a trip to Medford Oregon, and I am planning on spending some time with nature and an internal combustion engine. I was looking at Diamond Lake and a site stated that it was in the top 15 for snowmobiling in the West, true? Would you guys suggest Diamond Lake for a snowmobile trip in Southern Oregon? Any other suggestions?

Diamond Lake area is excellent - you can drive right up to the top of Crater Lake for one of the most awesome views you'll ever see in your lifetime. There is also Mt. Bailey nearby with GREAT powder riding. Avalanche danger has been HIGH so go with a guide or avoid the danger zones altogether since you're a novice.
