Ok here's the scoop : Our club had a party this past weekend and I got everone together for a photo to send to one of our members who was just in a serious car crash. I used my Sony Cam Corder, somehow the picture has come out over exposed and is unuseable. Is there anyone out there good at fixing this kinda thing...me and photo editing don't seem to get along.

what program are you using to take the digital photo off the video camera? * you could have one off the settings messed up. *I have used both the dazzle, and grabit.

I used windows moviemaker on winMe to take a full video off a video camera. *I know you can take still with it to. *Worked better than the fancy software that came with my nvidia geforce card. *As far as fixing up a picture nothing beats Adobe Photoshop. *If you wanted I could take a look and see what I can do with photoshop if you emailed it to me.
Photoshop is definitely the way to go for this..

Thanks for the help guys, I'll see if zr500 can fix it with what he has. I forgot to mention that the Cam corder does still pics as well .( although not very well by what I have seen ) I wish I had put a tape in and got it on tape , I think the quality would have been much better
Thanks again
