The local dealer has some great deals on 2002 xcsp. *We need to get a sled for my wife and I want somthing to ride the ditches with. *I currently own a 1997 sks 700. *What I'm wondering is the performance increase of the 700 worth the price increase 5500 vs 6000, slight insurance increase, and mpg over the 600? *Will the performance of the 600 be on par accelaration wise with my sks? *Top speed is not much of an issue. *If it goes 100 thats plenty. *Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a chance to talk to a couple of guys who were riding 2002- 500 and 700 xcsp's, they said milage was about the same between the two. Assuming they were doing casual trail riding. *If you are a larger rider (200 plus) then stay with the 700. If you have a track option get the 1.25 track. Not a bad deal for a 700 $6000. You might wait a bit longer and save a few more bucks. Where are you shopping, I could check pricing in my area to save you a few bucks too! *Good luck!

Rode with some 800s (i have a 600). They would only take 7-8 gallons to fill up when it would take me 10-11. Definently go with the 700.

Good choice with the 700. You get more sled for your buck. I went 500, 700 , 800.Skip the 600
