They give you better throttle response by improving the fuel flow similiar to flat slides (some say they actually improve it more than flatslides). A buddy had them in his 98 FIII 700 and he liked them however it took him a while to get them set up right. Initially he didn't glue them in as suggested and one fell out. He also found they made the idle somewhat erratic and as a result had to keep it a bit higher. Initially he didn't file the bottom of his slides so they were flush with the UFOs but after doing so he found that it ran alot better (this is when he became happy with the results). You ever think about getting a Tempa-flow instead (I know it doesn't do the same thing but I personally feel it's a better bang for your buck in terms of add-ons and you don't have to modify your slides)?

Save your money and spend time making sure the slide is lifted all the way up out of the air flow passage in the carb,same power at WOT and without the tuning nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tempa-flow? i never gave that a thought...i'll have to look into that...thanks
