Has anybody ever ran automotive carb/fuel injection cleaner (like Gumout or STP) in the gas tank? Would it clean the carbs without hurting a 2 cycle engine?

Check with your local Cat dealer. They have a carb and fuel injector cleaner that you add to your tank. :cool:

i use Kleen-Flo isopropyl gasline anti-freeze injector cleaner. i think the isopropyl is the cleaner itself because it smells like what the wives take nail polish off with, atleast kleen-flo smells that way. i took my carbs off and they are squeeky clean.
