It came in the form of an e-mail attachement from a friend from a nascar message board.
It seems to go to everyone in your e-mail history once it gets into your system.
I don't beilive I've ever e-mailed anybody at this site but if you get an e-mail from lovly5 @ *net *zero . net do not open it,delete it immediatly
my wife's e-mail is ladytiger at yahoo . *com.
unless someone is having fun with her on the side http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif ,delete anything from that sender also.

Uhh, no. *I had that SOB virus on my machine a couple of months ago. *Since I have a home network, it went across all three of the PC's that were hooked up to it, one being my laptop which has an old OS on it, and little means of repairing the damage. *Personally, I'd like to see the person who made that thing drawn and quartered. * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

Id like to know the motivation behind these viruses.

It seems most viruses originate from Warez. *People downloading free software, games, music, etc. get effected the most. *The motiviation is people trying to stop people from getting free downloads. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif * Then some other jerks get ahold of it and spread it through E-mail for sheets and grins. And you can never be OVER protected. *Much harder to protect from viruses than to get them through. *Luckily most common ones get stopped. *If someone REALY wanted to hack your stuff, not much out there today can stop it....
