Hi guys. I am just wondering what you guys think I should buy. My dealer has Adrenaline Revs (800HO for $8179, 600 SDI for $7800), Renegade Revs ($8500 for 800 HO, and $7200 for 600.) What do you guys think? I ride on water, lots of jumps, whatever powder I can find, and on lakes. What is the best buy for me? Thanks!

I would look for an X package or a renegade from the sounds of your riding styles.

IMHO the Revagade 800 is the best all around choise. Tho not a mountain sled, its got the powder abilities. Tho not a hyper lake sled it still comes out of the hole hard and runs hard up to 100+/- mph.

But the 600 SDi would be a LOT more fun to jump and you go a LONG ways further between gas stations than the 800 HO. They're all great sleds and not really a bad choice among any that you listed.

Post some pics when you get it!

PS - For jumping any of those sleds you'll need stiffer springs and another thing that's practically mandatory on Doo's is getting a clutch kit if you're at all agressive. The money you'd save on the 600 could pay for that stuff - just a thought.

Well since you asked I'll put in my $.02. I'd go for the Adrenaline 800 H.O.. I prefer the 121 in track and can't dstand the handling and power trade offs I have found on the 'Gades. Again this is my opinion as there seems to be a loyal 'Gade following although I just don't get it. And I still like the 800 H.O. compared to the 600SDI. It just plain rocks.

my choice would be the Renegade 800...then the power is there if you need it :)

Thank you all very much for your input. As I got to my dealer yesterday, all of the sleds were an option. My dealer suggested the adrenaline 600 SDI. He said that it is right there with the 800 ho all the way up to 100 and over 100 it is just a few mph slower. NICE! A lot cheaper and almost as fast. I will be going in on either Friday or Saturday to pick up my new adrenaline 600 HO SDI in yellow and black:) Thank you all so very much again!

DID you already make the deal?
I was going to say get the Adrn 600SDI, but tell Joe you won't pay more than $6990. Be firm! YOu did go to Floodwood, right?

YOu still have the MXZs? what are you asking for them?

Congratulations! And post some pics when you get it home.

I've got a question for you - What kind of shocks do you use on your truck? I need some new ones for the Jeep. Last time I bought shocks was 8 years ago and Edelbrock was way ahead of everyone else at that time because they licensed Ricor's technology that prevents side to side swaying and body roll in corners or when off-roading. Are they still the best? Did Rancho ever catch up?

Cheers,

G

Yeah, I only go to Floodwood. I haven't purchased it yet. Why $6990? Do you know something that I don't? $6990 would be nice. I would like to get $3500 for both mxz's together. Take it easy.

Gman- I will be sure to post some pics! Also...rancho all the way!

OH, I don't know anything. But, I realize I did make a mistake, because I was looking at the $7200 for the Gade, and thinking you were getting the Adrn600 for that price. either way, you should be able to get any sled for at least a couple hundred less than the price he told you. So, if he's offering the Adren for $7800, you should be able to get it for $75-something, max.
HOw are you financing it? My wife does the consumer loans at American Bank, ya know, right across 7 from DQ. She can probably help you if you don't have a plan yet. Or, she may be able to do better.
Also, have you looked into insurance yet? Full coverage for that sled is going to run you something rediculous like $1500/yr. Send a PM to PANTS for a good rate quote, and tell him I referred you. We used to work together, but he sells insurance in Virginia now, and he's got resonable rates.
What are the details on the MXZs? My wife wants to buy a sled, soon.
