Last night I was helping my buddy clean his carbs on his 2004 MxZ X and when we were taking them off we had to remove the plastic lines that go from the pressure manifold to the carbs. When I pulled one of them off the pressure manifold the little nipple on it broke off. I looked up on Ingles performance and the pressure manifold assy. is $248 for the whole assy. Is there any way to buy just the housing? Has anyone else done this and if so what did you do to fix it? HELP! Thanks.

Sorry I can't help with your problem. But I'm trying to figure out why you would be cleaning an 04's carbs after one season's use? Was the machine properly summerized? If it was, you wouldn't need to do anything else. Good luck with the repair!

From the numerous post I've read, it's a good idea to clean your carbs before the season kicks off. I pulled mine off and even though they were spotless, they still got cleaned. I'd call some dealers and see if you can buy just what you need. Call doo if they can't help you.

The reason for cleaning the carbs even after only one season of use is because I have seen the size of the hole in the pilot jet and if anything is in there and it gets plugged up the result is catastrophic. Summarize or not you have to check/clean your carbs. It is just not worth it not to doo it(even if I screwed up a $250 part). wecker20 what is the # for doo if the dealer is no help? Thanks.

I can fix everything on a snowmobile except for those stupid carbs.
I just don't toy with them.

They only sell the whole assembly so your best bet would be to call a sled salvage place and see if they have any. I did find one at Ronnie's for half of what you found: http://ronnies.onlinemicrofiche.com/Skidoo...e=13&A=550&B=23 (http://ronnies.onlinemicrofiche.com/Skidoo_OEM/Skidoo.asp?Type=13&A=550&B=23) Part no. 15. They list it for the '03 but it should be the same for '04. $125 says you won't make that mistake twice!

Good Luck,

Update: I ordered the part 512059700 from Ronnie's for $125. Thanks G-man. That is the part number right off the part. Yeah it is a $125 mistake but you got to be sure the carbs are clean. To all you Rev owners DO NOT PULL THE POLY LINES OFF THE PRESSURE MANIFOLD WHEN CLEANING YOUR CARBS. MAKE SURE YOU PULL THEM OFF THE CARBS OR ELSE YOU WILL BREAK THE BARB OF THE PRESSURE MANIFOLD. Really cheap design and Doo needs to correct it.
