I was looking at buying a 2 speed kit for my zr but got some bad feedback on them and now I don't know what to do. There are so many kits out there which ones are people the happiest with? I hear good things about Goodwin and D&D but just don't know what to do. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

I personally went with Goodwin. It's been a great kit. The biggest plus is their tech support. I hear D&D is very hard to get ahold of. Goodwin will help you till you get it right. Been real happy. ZRSledhead (aka Rick) will say the same.

AGREED Robb..............My Goodwin kit has performed as promised and yes their after sales support is second to none. CPR would be another good choice, only drawback is the much higher price due to adjustable wts.

Whatever you do do not waste your time with heelclickers or hammertimes.

I have a D&D trail kit and you can feel a big difference. Pulls hard all the way through. As long as your clutch pops off easy you can install in 45 minuts or less.I will admit you may have to wait on the phone for a few minuts for tech support.

I want to say the wts are 74 g. Couldn't tell you anything else. It's a red spring in the drive, and a greyish/silver spring in the driven. So if you go to there site, it may say what the spring rate is for those colors. Helix? Couldn't tell ya.
Hope that helps. I'm sure they will keep it a secret, otherwise you could just get the info and put it together on your own.
throw a striaght 55 helix at it, it will run great on ice, hard packed trial or deep snow. thats what i used in my 02 zr 800 and my f6 last year and i may run it again this year. you may buy a clutch kit from ODS or some other aftermarket compainy and it work great in a certian condition. It probably wont work good in all conditions. I had my zr 8 flying on the ice but it would go on the snow, so i just tried a 55 helix and worked great.
sorry i cant remember what i was running for wieghts and springs.
