Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows a way to get from the Allegany State Park up to Holiday Valley via sled. We ride out of PA thru the Willows into the state park and was wondering if you can get out of the park on the north side. Also are there any connecting trails out of the state park other than the Willows?? Can you make it to Lake Chautauqua?? Any help would be great

This info is from my map of NY and is just a guide as I have not personally been on these trails. NY #1 trail heads north through Allegany State Park and turns to the west just south of Salamanca. Trail 1 meets the start of #3, if you followed 3 till you picked up trail #2 it should take you towards Holiday Valley. Instead of taking trail #3 if you stay on trail #1 till trail#1D then trail #4 south to #4A south will get you along Lake Chautauqua. I am sure there are local trails in either place but these should get you close. Goodluck!

the state trail systems go from pa all the way up to canada... you just have to find a state map... may be a little bumpy since alot of the state trail south of the adirondacks are not maintained... as this goes with the catskills as well

Thats not true. All corridor trails and even secondary trails are groomed and maintained! All trails get bumpy depending on conditions and traffic.
