im not going to add a pipe to my sled now, dont want to deal with it, but im adding a clutch kit and maybe an mbrp silencer, but is the silencer worth it or not?? *says it adds 3hp.

Depending on what you have for a sled you will loose around 15 LBS. of weight, it's easier to service the chain case, recoil, oil pump, ect. most of them are loud, I doubt if you will notice any power increase, but it will sound like you are going faster, I like mine but it is loud when you are into the throttle hard, they do make quiet silencers for some models too.

Its a noisemaker.I have one on my 800 twin and i seriously doubt that it makes any more HP than stock.It definitely sounds good though.$270 bucks can. and it fits really nice.

I think mine was around $210.00 US.

I had one on my mxzx 800 and it made a lot of noise but no more power in my opinion but it does save a lot of weight and sounded great.
